Ensure all work instructions related to the machining of CRAFT products are followed.
Adherence to all safety rules and all department work instructions
Process all necessary paperwork associated with established production standards
Execute basic to advanced workflow tasks on established systems
Conduct preventative maintenance on machines
Basic knowledge of CRA raw material properties and products
Applies proper feed and speed rates for individual machines and materials per company standards and guidelines
Work with Gages, Micrometers, Calipers, or any other inspection tooling per inspection
Quality control of parts to ensure dimensions within tolerances
Adherence to all QA Management system standards
Sets-up and operates production machinery, and other items similar in nature.
Reads job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and determines sequence of operations
Load and unload parts from machinery
Follow daily Preventative Maintenance programs for each type of equipment.
Moves materials, parts, tool and containers.
Notify’ s supervisor regarding difficulties with tool and materials or malfunctions of equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to operate Overhead Crane and Forklift
Millwrighting abilities a plus
Must have at least 3 year's of experience in skilled machine operation
1-3 years Machine Operator experience
Ability to perform basic math function; ex. add, subtract, multiply and divide
