SERVICE TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT

8:00 am – 12:00 pm
$14.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist with water well drilling operations.
- Perform general labor duties, including lifting and assisting with rigging.
- Unload materials and tools from trucks using proper lifting techniques.
- Set up rigs and equipment for the day's job.
- Aid the Technician in operating and maintaining drill rigs and support equipment.
- Connect and disconnect drill pipe sections smoothly and quickly during the drilling process.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment manually.
- Safely load and secure well casing, supplies, and equipment for transportation.
- Collect drill cuttings as directed by the Technician.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment, including equipment, job site areas, and trucks.
- Assist in the clean-up of mud pits and drains.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and team lift up to 75 lbs. periodically.
- This job is physically demanding, requiring 8 hours of standing & walking.
- Must have the ability to interface with clients and team appropriately.
- Must speak, read, and write in English fluently.
- You will constantly be on the move and learning new skills. Applicant must be trainable.
