MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER

6:00 am – 4:30 pm
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour, DOE
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assembly: Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete systems using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
- Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide assembly processes.
- Precision Alignment: Position, align, and fasten parts together using tools such as drill presses, wrenches, and torque wrenches.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test assembled products for functionality, defects, and alignment to meet engineering specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues, including adjusting components, performing minor repairs, and documenting deviations.
- Material Handling: Use cranes, hoists, or forklifts to move heavy parts and equipment safely.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following all company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years’ experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, high dexterity, and familiarity with pneumatic tools, calipers, and tape measures.
- High School Diploma or GED certificate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
