FACILITY MAINTENANCE
Monday – Friday
8:00 am – 4:30 pm, must be able to work overtime and weekends
$22.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform basic to semi-skilled maintenance for hospital facilities, equipment, properties, and grounds.
- Complete general building repairs and maintenance including mechanical, painting, electrical, plumbing, and groundskeeping tasks.
- Respond to maintenance requests using a computerized maintenance management system.
- Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.
- Perform basic building maintenance functions, including painting and general repairs.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Identify and troubleshoot practical maintenance issues independently.
- Communicate maintenance concerns clearly with hospital departments and supervisors.
- Work in extreme temperature conditions as needed.
- Work independently without supervision and collaboratively as part of a team
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
