Job Description

MIG WELDER & FITTER
Monday - Friday 
6:00 am - 4:30 pm 
$20.00 - $30.00

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine welding requirements
  • MIG and TIG weld steel and stainless steel components as specified
  • Set up welding cells for production runs
  • Follow and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
  • Operate welding and production machinery as required
  • Assemble components and prepare final products for shipment
  • Inspect welds and ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production goals
  • Lift and move materials manually or using hoists
  • Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards related to welding
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED required; welding certifications preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in MIG welding (TIG, Stick, and Flux Core a plus)
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and materials
  • Able to operate and maintain welding equipment safely and effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work on feet for extended periods
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a fast-paced team
  • Willingness to work outdoors, at heights, or in confined spaces as needed
  • Availability to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts when required
