Job Description

MATERIAL HANDLER
Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 5:00 pm
$15.50 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Properly load delivery trucks
  • Use a combination of forklift vehicle, overhead crane and manual labor to perform tasks
  • Unload stock truck and place material in correct location
  • Stock racks within sales location
  • Maintain well-stocked inventory that is readily available for the customer
  • Pre-pull customer pick-up orders to ensure ready to be loaded when customer arrives
  • Assist in inventory management activities to include cycle counts
  • Perform cleaning and housekeeping activities
  • Perform work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Provide and ensure customer-focused activities, deliverables and services
  • Manage daily activities resulting in continuous efficiency and process improvements
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • No previous experience needed for this job
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Must have a willingness to work hard
  • Being reliable is key for employment advancement
