Job Description

PLANNER SCHEDULER II
Monday – Friday 
8:00 am – 5:00 pm 
$40.00 - $41.50 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure accurate forecasting and resource planning.
  • Define project objectives, execution strategies, and scheduling methodologies.
  • Identify risks, optimize resources, and propose mitigation strategies to reduce costs and delays.
  • Monitor and control project progress, detecting delays and recommending corrective actions.
  • Establish and refine planning & scheduling systems, including procedures, time schedules, and dashboards.
  • Support the approval process for schedule baselines and milestone achievements.
  • Communicate project milestones, critical paths, and scheduling updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct schedule audits, variance analysis, and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address scheduling conflicts and process improvements.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to project managers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Assist in contract schedule requirements, project breakdown structures, and timeline assessments.
  • Develop recovery plans and corrective actions in response to scheduling delays.
  • Train or mentor junior colleagues on small to mid-sized projects as needed.
  • Maintain project records, lessons learned, and feedback to enhance scheduling practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, or a related Technical Field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project execution, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with clients professionally and represent the company effectively.
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed to support project demands.
  • Preferred but not required: Subsea product knowledge, project contract review experience, and experience leading live scheduling meetings with stakeholders.
