Prepare general ledger journal entries, maintain fixed asset tracking, and reconcile monthly balance sheets and bank accounts.
Generate and file monthly financial reports and distribute periodic financial statements to management.
Manage accounts payable by verifying invoices, expense reports, check requests, and purchase requisitions; enter data into the system and process weekly check runs.
Support accounts receivable functions, including payment application, monthly invoicing, customer account reconciliation, and addressing customer inquiries.
Reconcile petty cash funds and perform daily banking procedures.
Prepare and analyze monthly journals and assist with budget preparation.
Maintain fixed asset and related depreciation schedules.
Prepare monthly sales tax returns and assist with annual external audits.
Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, including account analyses and reconciliations.
Oversee inventory-related tasks such as transactional recording, count cycles, annual counts, and cost inventory adjustments.
Coordinate the implementation of accounting systems and controls, recommending operational improvements as needed.
Assist in developing accounting procedures and participate in related special projects as required.
Review and analyze accounting operations for process enhancements.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Accounting required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SBI is a plus.
Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Must be willing to travel between office locations (less than 30 miles apart) 2–3 days per week.
Willingness to work in outdoor environments during inventory audits.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
