Job Description

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 
PRODUCTION SUPPORT 
Monday - Friday 
7:00 am - 4:00 pm 
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 
 
  • Helps answer and transfers phone calls when needed, screening when necessary.
  • Maintains filing systems as assigned.
  • Helps with record keeping of HACCP documents.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Coordinates orders for production with department managers or supervisors.
  • Receive and check in deliveries and pick-ups.
  •  Print labels for production.
  • Maintains office supplies inventories and inventories needed for production.
  • Must be able to open and start production and close down when needed.
  • Must be willing to work in production areas if needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS 
 
  • Must be production oriented
  • Computer skills needed; Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Basic organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
  • HACCP participation knowledge 
  • Production experience (food production preferably).
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
