8:00 am - 4:30 pm
$17.00 per hour
Personnel Services is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our manufacturing client’s warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials and finished goods move efficiently through production and shipping.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Shipping & Receiving
- Receive incoming shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies
- Prepare finished goods for shipment by packaging, labeling, and staging orders
- Schedule carrier pickups as directed
Material Handling
- Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Deliver materials to production areas as needed
- Inventory & Organization
- Enter and track shipping and inventory information in company systems
- Maintain shipping supplies and keep the work area clean and organized
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to use measuring tools and basic computer programs
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; and stoop
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols
- Preferred: Forklift experience
