CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Monday - Thursday
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday
8:00 am - 2:30 pm/Occasionally work until 5:00pm
$14.88 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Field incoming calls from existing customers to provide claims support and account servicing.
- Respond professionally and accurately to phone and mail inquiries.
- Ensure a positive customer experience with each interaction and deliver accurate documentation.
- Answer questions from insured customers and agents regarding claims and policies.
- Prepare customer correspondence and policy-related documents as needed.
- Accurately process caller transactions within defined time standards.
- Utilize internal systems and reference materials to provide timely and correct information.
- Efficiently manage time and call volume to meet service level and quality standards.
- Operate multiple systems and applications, including Microsoft Outlook and call center software.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 6+ months of related experience preferred.
- Previous customer service or call center experience is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to multitask.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism.
- Ability to review, record, and organize information accurately.
- Typing speed of at least 25 WPM required.
- Must successfully complete required proficiency assessments.
- Strong team player with a focus on integrity and collaboration.
- Proficiency in computer use is essential; familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and keyboard shortcuts is a plus.
