JOB SUMMARY
As a Customer Service Representative in the Call Center, you will be responsible for fielding calls from existing customers and servicing existing accounts. As a customer service professional, you receive inbound phone inquiries from our customers. Your goal each day is to ensure each interaction you have with our customers result in a positive experience and an accurate work product.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Answer incoming calls from clients regarding indexed and fixed annuities: make outbound follow-up calls as necessary
- Completing Financial/Non-Financial requests, form requests, etc.
- Document call details accurately
- Resolve customer service-related issues
- Accountable for building/maintaining effective relationships with customers
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
- Basic understanding of indexed and fixed annuity services
- Customer service aptitude and orientation
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to solve problems to find mutually acceptable solutions
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build rapport
- Must have knowledge of and/or ability to maneuver through multiple information screens
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, search skills, ability to approach problems logically
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Good verbal and written Communication Skills.
- Strong keyboard and typing skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-starter with excellent teamwork skills and an appropriate sense of urgency
- Ability to handle competing priorities and manage time effectively
- Open to coaching and constructive feedback to become more effective and improve performance.
PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Finance/Insurance customer service preferred
- ALMI/FLMI or other related professional designation
- Preferred Contact/Call Center experience
