CUSTOMER SERVICE/SHIPPING CLERK

8:00 am - 5:00 pm
$11.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Process and complete customer orders for shipment using company software
- Prepare shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other shipping systems
- Weigh, label, and package products accurately for delivery
- Coordinate daily with customer service, quality control, and production teams
- Monitor order status and ensure shipments go out on schedule
- Review shipping instructions and ensure all requirements are met
- Prepare bills of lading and arrange pickups with carriers
- Complete international shipping documentation when needed
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shortages, and reorders
- Communicate with freight and ground carriers to coordinate shipments
- Assist customer service with order follow-ups and urgent (“HOT”) orders
- Make inventory adjustments within the company software as needed
- Support packing and filing tasks when required
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 year of shipping or related experience
- Basic math and typing skills
- Comfortable using computers and shipping software
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
