Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Prepare items for shipment.
Assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
Record shipment data, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
Deliver or route materials to departments using a Big Joe Straddle Stacker forklift.
Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
Field incoming calls and provide general customer service.
Process sales/order entry as needed.
Perform necessary follow up in order to close sales.
Document and maintain sales cycle, customer/rep contact and clinical support in Synergy, as outlined in Quality System Manual.
Provide technical and clinical support as needed in accordance with company Quality System Manual.
Support the Customer Service Manager with Company’s distributors, representatives, retail, and government customers.
Assist distributors/independent representatives.
Provide reports on activities to the Customer Service Manager.
Travel as requested to conferences, lectures, and seminars for the promotion of company’s products.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
Basic reading & math skills
Lift up to 50 pounds
Become proficient in Alpha-Stim technology, ERP System, and Customer Service Support functions as needed.
