Job Description

DIESEL MECHANIC
Monday - Friday 
7:00 am - 4:00 pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machinery following manuals and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical malfunctions using observation, testing instruments, and diagnostic tools.
  • Dismantle, repair, and replace defective parts using hoists, hand, and power tools.
  • Fabricate repair parts with machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and maintenance needs to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in diesel and hydraulic repairs, including work on backhoes, trenchers, and bore rigs.
  • Electrical repair experience is a plus.
  • Must have personal tools relevant to the job.
  • Ability to lift and carry loads up to 100 lbs as needed.
  • CDL Driver's License is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to occasionally crawl and work in tight spaces as required by the role.
