DIESEL MECHANIC TECHNICIAN

6:30 am – 4:00 pm
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform repair work and maintenance for diesel trucks, buses and other diesel motor vehicles.
- Identifies mechanical problems, either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.
- Performs routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
- Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems, such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues.
- Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed.
- Having your own tools is preferred.
- Experience on Cummin and Navistar engines recommended
