DIRECTIONAL BORE RIG OPERATOR
Direct Hire
Monday – Friday, overtime and weekends as needed
7:00 am - 5:00 pm
$47,840 - $56,160 per year
Transportation to out of town job sites will be provided
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operate and/or locate for a Directional Bore Machine.
- Perform utility placement in Public Right of Way.
- Handle and operate various types of construction equipment.
- Perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods.
- Work in extreme weather conditions and withstand constant vibration from equipment.
- Climb in and out of trenches; lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comply with all safety standards; this is a safety-sensitive position.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience with Directional Bore Machines and utility placement is preferred.
- CDL Class A driver’s license is required
- Experience with Utility placement in Public Right of Way and experience with all types of construction equipment are to be considered a plus
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently.
- Ability to climb up to 6 feet.
- Frequently required to lift and carry loads up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift and carry loads up to 100 lbs.
- Repetitive movement of both feet, simple and firm grasping, and fine manipulation with both hands are necessary.
- Travel to out-of-town job sites as needed; transportation provided.
