ELECTRO HYDRAULIC TECHNICIAN

6:00 am - 4:30 pm
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour or DOE
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and assembly instructions
- Wire and assemble electrical components including PLCs, motors, pressure switches, and position transducers
- Perform hydraulic tube bending, routing, and system assembly
- Install and mount power units and electrical components within control enclosures
- Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, including AC/DC motors and gear pumps
- Follow NEC standards and best practices for wiring, including proper wire sizing and color coding
- Test, diagnose, and repair system components to ensure proper functionality
- Operate shop equipment such as drill presses, grinders, and lathes for enclosure modifications
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support assembly and design improvements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in electro-hydraulic systems, subsea controls, or a related industrial field
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, and the ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand/power tools, hydraulic tube bending equipment, and computer competence.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and system setup
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting
