Job Description

MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER
Monday - Friday 
7:00 am - 3:30 pm 
$16.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assemble, rework, and repair mechanical equipment and components according to engineering and quality specifications 
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assemblies accurately and efficiently 
  • Inspect parts for defects and perform pressure testing to ensure proper function and quality standards are met 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to guide assembly processes 
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and organized condition 
  • Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines to support a safe work environment 
  • Cross-train in multiple assembly areas to support team needs and assist with training new team members 
  • Provide backup support in other assembly areas as needed 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • 3–5 years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience 
  • Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings 
  • Mechanical troubleshooting knowledge 
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs and performing repetitive tasks
