ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Reviews drafting checklist to determine number of drawings and/or design calculations to send to the customer.
- Send drawings and/or design calculations to Registered Professional Engineers for state certification stamp.
- Prepares transmittal record.
- Ship approval drawings and/or stamped design calculations to customers.
- Position requires the ability to count, measure, and weigh accurately.
- Position requires quality, safety and service-oriented individuals.
- Requires learning/knowledge of hazardous material handling.
- Ability to work safely with power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- AutoCAD experience
- must have the capability to read and understand structural and architectural drawing.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and/or correspondence.
- Use basic math skills such as add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure using whole numbers.
- Ability to use measuring tapes and other recording instruments is required.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to walk, stand, and climb stairs for 8–12-hour shifts.
- Must be able to use hand trucks and carts to push and pull loads > 100 lbs.
