MAINTENANCE
Monday – Friday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm, must be able to work overtime and weekends.
$22.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- This position performs basic to semi-skilled maintenance requests and maintenance support for the hospital, hospital equipment, hospital properties, and grounds.
- Provide basic building repair and maintenance support including, but not limited to, general mechanical repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, customer requests, grounds, and utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.
- Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.
- Ability to perform basic building maintenance functions to include painting and general repairs.
- Working knowledge of basic hand/ power tool operation.
- The ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues.
- Ability to communicate maintenance problems to hospital departments and departmental supervisors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
- 1 year maintenance in commercial or industrial environment required.
- Lift no more than 50lbs. at a time; frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent reaching below waist and above shoulders
- Stand and/or walk up to 6 hours in 8 hour day;
- Exert 20-50lbs. of force occasionally.
- Ability to work unsupervised and in teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
- Ability work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Current driver’s license required.
