Perform counter sales and assists customers with product recommendations.
Assist with daily paperwork, record keeping and computer entry.
Demonstrate work habits that develop, build, and support the team concept within the organization.
Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customer inquiries at the counter and over the phone regarding such things as statements, sales, bids, grain and/or fertilizer contracting, pricing questions, grain and fertilizer offers and options, historical account activity, selling, etc.
Abide with state and federal rules and regulations, monitors grain and/or fertilizer contracts to ensure compliance and make sure there is no lien on government hold.
Prepare feed orders, purchase orders, work orders to mill, invoice feed, outgoing grain/fertilizer and prepare and input grain/fertilizer transfers, lot tracking for feed ingredients, track grain movement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Strong verbal, written, organizational and customer services skills
Warehouse experience a plus
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Forklift certified preferred.
1 year similar job experience
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
Must be able to read and write English.
Agriculture background (preferred)
Knowledge of Feed Supply and Feed Products (preferred)
