CLOD-MEAT PROCESSING

6:00 am ( 10-12 hour shifts )
$18.00 - $26.00 per hour, DOE
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Remove bones from the beef clod (shoulder) with precision and care
- Cut clods into standard or specialty cuts, such as steaks or ground beef
- Inspect meat for quality and consistency to ensure it meets processing standards
- Operate specialized cutting and processing machinery safely and effectively
- Follow all food safety regulations and standard operating procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout all processing tasks
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Prior experience in clod- meat processing, butchering, or similar role
- Strong understanding of beef anatomy, especially the chuck primal and shoulder (clod)
- Ability to use knives and processing equipment safely and skillfully
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene protocols
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy cuts of meat as needed up to 50-75lbs.
