Job Description

FOOD SERVICE WORKER
Monday - Friday 
8:00 am - 4:30 pm 
$15.50 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils according to department standards.
  • Stock, label, store, and deliver food and supplies using FIFO rotation.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas; follow “clean as you go” and proper hand hygiene protocols.
  • Assemble and disassemble dishwashing and serving line equipment; bus tables or assist with food prep as needed.
  • Label and date food items per HACCP standards; monitor and record food and refrigeration temperatures.
  • Follow HACCP and OSHA guidelines for safe food handling and sanitation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in food service or customer service.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math in English.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; team-oriented.
  • Courteous, cooperative, and professional with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality service.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Must obtain a Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment.
