SHOP HELPER
Monday - Friday 
6:00 am - 2:30 pm 
$14.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Operates or assists with automatic machines used for cutting, curling, crimping, capping, labeling, or tubing paper products such as spools and tubes.
  • Uses pedals, switches, and valves to start and stop machines and auxiliary devices such as glue heaters, curling heads, and air ejectors.
  • Loads tubes, caps, labels, covers, spool shields, or paper strips into dispensers, conveyors, or mandrels.
  • Adds glue to pots, clears jams, and ensures equipment runs smoothly.
  • Assists with stacking, packaging, and moving finished products as needed.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area and follows all safety procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read a tape measure quickly and accurately.
  • Able to calculate basic measurements, volumes, and percentages.
  • Demonstrates good problem-solving and common-sense decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and available for overtime, including mandatory Saturday shifts.
