ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform thorough visual and functional inspections of chassis equipment upon arrival.
- Accurately document the condition of each chassis, including any damages or defects.
- Use electronic or manual logs to update chassis status (damage, repair needs, service status).
- Communicate inspection results and issues to supervisors, logistics, or maintenance personnel.
- Ensure all chassis comply with safety and operational standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free check-in area.
- Provide professional customer service to drivers, technicians, and team members.
- Report any discrepancies or unsafe equipment promptly for corrective action.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are a plus.
- Background in logistics, vehicle inspection, or related fields preferred.
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal communication and teamwork.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of performing repetitive motions during inspections.
