Job Description

MATERIAL HANDLER
Monday - Friday 
8:00 am - 5:30 pm 
$17.50 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Verify accuracy of all incoming and outgoing material quantities and maintain required documentation.
  • Physically move and track department inventory, keeping system records current.
  • Conduct cycle counts and post totals to inventory records to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Pull and stage materials for work orders, recording all required trace documentation.
  • Order inventory items as needed to maintain appropriate stock for customer demand.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Follow OSHA and company health and safety guidelines at all times.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 years of material handling or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently with minimal errors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely, maintain good housekeeping, and follow established procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team lift required for weights over 50 lbs.).
