HARVEST
Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 4:30 pm
$14.00 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
  • Perform initial meat processing operations including skinning, trimming, sorting, and carcass inspection.
  • Use tools and equipment such as knives, saws, scissors, grinders, crushers, and scales.
  • Crack cattle skulls and operate equipment in accordance with safety and processing protocols.
  • Load products into machines and operate packaging, labeling, and boxing systems.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by using power washers, squeegees, and other sanitation tools.
  • Clean and sanitize all workstations and equipment used in processing.
  • Rotate through various tasks and roles based on production needs and USDA standards.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with exposure to raw meat and processing areas.
  • Comfortable using sharp tools and operating heavy machinery.
  • Must follow strict safety, hygiene, and USDA regulations.
  • Able to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Willingness to work in cold, wet, or warm environments, depending on plant location.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in meat processing or manufacturing preferred but not required.
