Job Description

LANDFILL LABORER
Monday - Friday 
7:00 am - 3:30 pm 
$15.00 per hour 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain landfill grounds by collecting litter and debris to ensure a clean, safe, and professional appearance.
  • Perform groundskeeping duties, including weed trimming and general site upkeep.
  • Install and maintain temporary wind fencing as needed to control debris.
  • Assist with facility maintenance tasks, including painting, minor repairs, and janitorial duties.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and dust.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Basic knowledge of safe work practices and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to maintain a consistent work schedule.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
