INDUSTRIAL SANDBLASTER / PAINTER
Monday – Friday
8:00 am -5:00 pm
$13.00 - $17.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepare parts for coating
- Follow all principles and practices of coating application
- Operate all sandblasting and coating equipment
- Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections
- Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance
- Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout facility
- Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment
- Load and unload parts and/or products
- Good knowledge of the mechanics and repair of painting equipment
- Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Clean-up work areas, equipment, supplies and materials; apply standard safety practices and procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Sandblasting experience required
- Able to read drawings is preferred
- Preferred working knowledge of calipers & gauges
- Detail oriented and consistent
- Basics in mathematics, reading and writing
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend and stoop for prolonged periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with manufacturing & production
- Bi-Lingual preferred
