Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals
Assign work, monitor output, and ensure orders are completed on time
Partner with Production Planning to build daily schedules and coordinate material flow
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) using production boards and reports
Ensure team follows standard work, visual controls, and quality specifications
Identify production issues, remove roadblocks, and escalate concerns when needed
Train, coach, and develop Leads and Operators to strengthen performance and engagement
Promote a safe workplace by enforcing safety policies and participating in safety initiatives
Support continuous improvement efforts (Lean, Kaizen, RCCM, root cause analysis)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years in a manufacturing supervisory/technical support role OR Associate degree/high school diploma with equivalent experience (7+ years supervision)
Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (machining, assembly, quality, etc.)
Strong knowledge of process improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen preferred)
Ability to review data/metrics, analyze performance, and make sound decisions
Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence across teams
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Customer-focused mindset with understanding of internal/external customer needs
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to create/maintain basic charts, reports, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
