LEAD QUALITY (MANUFACTURING)
Monday - Thursday
8:30 pm – 7:00 am
$26.00 + $1.00 shift differential
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Lead, coach, and support the quality team to meet company standards
- Set daily priorities for Quality Inspectors and monitor workflow
- Review scrap, nonconforming materials, and quality trends
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action efforts
- Communicate quality issues and escalate concerns when needed
- Ensure nonconforming products are identified, contained, and not shipped
- Support receiving inspection and address supplier quality issues
- Train new team members and provide ongoing refresher training
- Partner with production and engineering to improve processes and product quality
- Support continuous improvement and plant yield initiatives
- Assist with new product development (NPD) measurements and tool qualification
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 & 14001 standards
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment (5S)
- Step in to stop production or shipments if quality issues arise
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
- Experience with quality tools (SPC, root cause analysis, corrective actions)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs
PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED):
- ASQ certification or Six Sigma training
