Job Description

MATERIAL HANDLER
Monday - Friday 
6:00 am - 2:00 pm
$17.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Safely transport raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
  • Load and unload materials from production lines, storage areas, and shipping/receiving docks.
  • Stage materials for production and remove finished products to support efficient workflow.
  • Verify products and materials using labels, documentation, and company procedures.
  • Complete inventory transactions and maintain accurate records in the ERP system.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as needed.
  • Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous forklift/material handling experience required.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift; certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to complete inventory transactions.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements.
