BATCHING OPERATOR
Monday - Friday, mandatory overtime as needed
2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
$17.25 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment at all times
- Operate batching equipment at standard rates and within safety guidelines
- Report safety hazards or incidents promptly to the shift manager or packaging lead
- Stop operations if safety, quality, or contamination risks are identified
- Monitor and ensure compliance with hygiene, environmental, and product standards
- Perform quality checks and communicate deviations or issues to supervisors
- Clean and maintain batching area and related equipment
- Assist maintenance during downtime and troubleshoot production issues
- Communicate effectively with team members to support efficient startups, changeovers, and handoffs
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, teamwork, and professionalism throughout the shift
- Be punctual and fully responsible for assigned work areas each shift
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repetitively
- Comfortable climbing ladders and entering confined spaces
- Able to maneuver in tight workspaces
- Must be able to distinguish between colors
