INDUSTRIAL PAINTER HELPER
Monday - Friday
6:00 am - 6:00 pm, required to work overtime and weekends as needed
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepare surfaces by sandblasting, sanding, grinding, scraping, and masking
- Assist with mixing paints and coatings per specifications
- Support application of primers and finish coats using spray guns, brushes, or rollers
- Clean, maintain, set up, and break down painting and blasting equipment
- Load, unload, move, and tag materials and parts (forklift use if trained)
- Follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean work area
- Inspect surfaces and coatings to ensure quality and compliance
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Basic experience using hand and power tools (grinders, spray guns, brushes)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in industrial environments (heat, cold, confined areas)
- Understanding of basic paint preparation, application, and safety practices
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions
- Previous industrial painting, sandblasting, or oilfield experience preferred
