ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Pull and prepare orders, load/unload trucks, and complete required documentation while keeping raw material storage areas clean.
- Schedule inbound/outbound trucks, transfer product to cold storage, document transfers, and maintain accurate inventory.
- Count, pull, and match product to order tickets; verify accuracy and completion of pulled orders.
- Receive and document incoming shipments; prepare, document, and load outgoing trucks.
- Move palletized products through freezers, coolers, and dry storage.
- Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) policy and adhere to on-hold procedures when pulling product.
- Operate equipment safely while lifting and moving products.
- Observe and uphold company policies on food safety, product quality, and sanitation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 1–2 years of experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, and electric pallet jack.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record; experience driving up to a 26' box truck preferred for occasional local deliveries.
- Ability to read and perform basic math for accurate order pulling.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong listening and communication skills to report product shortages and work effectively as a team member.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized raw material storage area.
