JANITORIAL WORKER
Monday – Friday
7:00 am - 3:00 pm, must be available on weekends.
$13.70 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform both cosmetic and deep cleaning tasks in assigned areas
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, locker rooms, hallways, offices, lunchrooms, conference and training rooms, laboratory, control room, production, and packaging areas
- Prepare proper dilutions of cleaning chemicals
- Keep janitor rooms organized, clean, and stocked
- Perform routine checks on paper, soap, and hand sanitizer dispensers; report damages or refills needed
- Ensure daily sanitation and orderliness of all assigned areas
- Observe and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Comply with HACCP, BRC, and FSMA food safety standards
- Report any concerns regarding food safety, physical safety, environment, or equipment to supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and usage
- Capable of working independently and managing time efficiently
- Must be able to work in varying environments, including production and packaging areas
- Willingness to follow strict safety and sanitation procedures
