KETTLE ROOM ATTENDANT
Monday – Friday
7:30 am – 4:30 pm, or until production is finished.
$14.00 per hour, DOE
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assemble the equipment, load, the kettles, and provide relief to the Cook Lead.
- follow the HACCP guidelines, GMP’s, and SSOP’s during production.
- must have the ability to perform basic reading and math computations.
- Help verify product ingredients before adding to the kettle.
- Follow the cook directions thoroughly.
- Assembly of the Kettles, Pumps, and Piping.
- Help with rework in the Packaging Room.
- Perform duties while understanding and observing company policies on food safety, product quality and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Kettle Room
- Other job duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Prefer a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a food manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to bending, climbing, kneeling, reaching, driving, standing, walking, carrying, sitting, twisting, squatting, repetitive motion, ladders or stairs, pushing and/or pulling up to 500 pounds, and work shifts exceeding 12 hours.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
