KILN SPRAY WARE HANDLER
Monday - Thursday, mandatory overtime as needed
6:00 pm - 4:30 pm

$19.23 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Identify defective pieces and segregate accordingly
- Prep and accurately scan pieces in software and load bowls by lift device or lifting by hand from racks to turntable for robot pick up
- Prep and clean pieces after they have been sprayed and load onto a kiln car with a lift device or by hand
- Set bricks and make sure that sprayed pieces are properly set onto bricks on kiln cars, adjusting when necessary
- Scrape down booth walls, shovel out glaze reclaim, and wash down glaze booths and scrubbers each shift or as directed by leadership
- Assist in other spray department functions when needed
- Clean and maintain work area, cleaning up any broken ware, ensuring no glaze or water spills are left on floors, and clean and/or shovel out drains as necessary
- Practice and follow all safety regulations and fill out safety paperwork as needed
- Perform all duties as assigned by supervision
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Requires physical demand with heavy repetitive lifting
- Requires exposure to heat, dust and high noise
- Must be able to work scheduled overtime
- Must be able to work rotating shift
