Identify defective pieces and segregate accordingly
Prep and accurately scan pieces in software and load bowls by lift device or lifting by hand from racks to turntable for robot pick-up
Prep and clean pieces after they have been sprayed and load onto a kiln car with a lift device or by hand
Set bricks and make sure that sprayed pieces are properly set onto bricks on kiln cars, adjusting when necessary
Scrape down booth walls, shovel out glaze reclaim, and wash down glaze booths and scrubbers each shift or as directed by leadership
Assist in other spray department functions when needed
Clean and maintain work area, cleaning up any broken ware, ensuring no glaze or water spills are left on floors, and clean and/or shovel out drains as necessary
Practice and follow all safety regulations and fill out safety paperwork as needed
Perform all duties as assigned by supervision
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or GED preferred
Requires physical demand with heavy repetitive lifting
