MACHINE OPERATOR
Monday - Friday
6:00 am - until job complete, hours vary
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Line up saw/slitter operators
- Orders foam
- Keep things running at a steady rate
- Follow all quality/safety requirements and procedures.
- Keep a clean and orderly workplace.
- Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Process
Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system - Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
- Verify the implementation of solutions,
- Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- Initiate solutions to a quality-related problem by communicating the problem to management.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/lead person
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year factory-related experience
- 1 year machine operator experience is required
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Able to stand and walk for 8 hours
- Able to read measuring devices
- High school diploma or equivalent
