MILL & EXTRUSION OPERATOR
Friday - Sunday
6:30 am - 7:00 pm
$18.17 per hour, plus $2 shift differential
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Follow all instructions on the Job Card required for milling and extruding materials, ensuring correct process is used for optimum results
- Responsible for working within the set quality standards to make sure only good quality products are passed along to the next stage of manufacturing
- Measure product thoroughly and add to material following the standard work instructions
- Measure and cut product to appropriate length to ensure maximum efficiency and quality of product
- Responsible for following safety guidelines and reporting any and all near misses, incidents, and accidents to the appropriate personnel
- Ensure that work area is properly clean at all times especially at the end of the shift
- Throughout the shift work will be recorded into the system in a timely and accurate fashion
- Bring any issues or “stops” to production to your cell leader or appropriate personnel
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- 6 months prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience running machinery
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must understand basic manufacturing math
- Must possess effective communication skills
