TOOLING ASSOCIATE / HORIZONTAL MANUAL LATHE HELPER

6:30 pm - 7:00 pm
$20.17 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure that all tools are supplied and available to use.
- Responsible for utilizing a manual lathe machine for the polishing of tools used by the operative.
- Will use a manual horizontal lathe and will polish all tools to ensure production is getting the optimal yield
- Must indicate and align all tools to specification
- Must follow strict guidelines of training in reference to polishing
- Will polish all tools when required (E-seals and O-rings)
- Keep track of all tools polished and unpolished in a required log
- Keep machine and polishing area clean of all debris
- Must be able to operate forklift and other equipment to move larger tools around the shop
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 6 months of experience working in a manufacturing environment, or relevant experience
- Prio experience operating manual lathe or manual horizontal lathe machines
- Great communication skills
- Safety conscious
- Prior machining experience
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED
