OASIS OPERATOR
FORKLIFT/MACHINE OPERATOR

7:00 am - 7:00 pm
$15.70 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operate the Oasis system efficiently and safely
- Stack and wrap pallets correctly according to guidelines
- Verify proper labeling on all pallets
- Complete production reports accurately and timely
- Manage waste materials: weigh, transport, and dispose of cartons, cardboard, film waste, and shift garbage
- Communicate with supervisor and team to ensure supply replenishment
- Operate forklift as needed in a safe and efficient manner
- Adhere to food safety, quality, and defense standards
- Comply with HACCP, BRC, FSMA, and GMP requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned work areas
- Identify and report food safety, equipment, or environmental concerns
- Monitor product quality and remove damaged cases
- Report questionable product conditions to supervisor
- Perform cosmetic cleaning and sanitize inside/outside equipment as required
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience as a packaging machine operator, preferably in food manufacturing
- Forklift operation experience required
- Working knowledge of food production and packaging principles
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Willingness to work various shifts as needed by the business
