FABRICATION TECHNICIAN
Monday - Friday
6:00 am - 6:00 pm, mandatory overtime as needed
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour, DOE
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Set up and run various tests including environmental and calibration testing
- Operate optical power meters and run test software programs
- Prepare test documentation and assembly procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
- Report any Bill of Materials discrepancies and document quality issues
- Adhere to deadlines and production schedules
- Support continuous improvement and follow safety protocols diligently
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of related experience required
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- Experience in electronic technology and CNC programming
- Specifically Messer Water and Burny Kaliburn Air Downdraft plasma tables
- Strong knowledge of geometry and trigonometry
- Familiarity with ERP systems, job structures, and operations routings
- Understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and process steps
- Strong math skills: fractions, decimals, percentages, and basic algebra
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work overtime and shift schedules as needed
- Total commitment to safety and accident-free work practices
