Job Description

MANUAL MACHINIST
Monday - Friday 
6:00 am - until finished

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Operate manual machining equipment including lathes and mills to fabricate parts to precise specifications.
  • Set up machines by adjusting tools and equipment to match specified requirements.
  • Perform tool changes, adjustments, and calibrations as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
  • Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure parts meet tolerance and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the machining area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in operating manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
  • Strong math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience with machine setup, including adjustment of tolerances and tooling.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality, accurate components.
  • Experience with programming machinery is a plus.
  • Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.
