MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

6:00 am - 3:00 pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Fill out required documentation timely and correctly
- Understand the operation of all equipment in the production area
- Perform preventive maintenance operations
- Diagnose and repair AC and DC motor control
- Identify and communicate problematic issues
- Maintain the work areas in a tidy condition, including the maintenance shop and storage areas
- Ensure all the company’s policies on safety, food safety, food defense, and
GMPs are followed - Other job duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- College or Technical School degree preferred
- 2 - 5 years maintenance experience
- Ability to work in a production environment that can be slippery and wet
with temperature ranges from cold to hot. - Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours
- Computer literate
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read equipment diagrams, trouble shoot equipment malfunctions
- Must be organized, detail oriented and a strong at multitasking
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Previous maintenance experience in a food facility
PREFERRED SKILLS
- TIG, MIG and ARC welding capability
- Knowledgeable in the following: Electronic 12VDC, hydraulics, pneumatics,
motor starters, pumps and PLC controls
