OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Monday – Friday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour, DOE
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role supports daily office operations and requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a construction-related setting is a plus.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform a wide range of clerical and administrative duties not limited to one specific office function
- Support general office operations using basic office management systems and procedures
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records and manage electronic filing systems
- Perform basic typing, data entry, and document preparation
- Operate standard office equipment including printers, copiers, and scanners
- Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external clients
- Assist with basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks as needed
- Maintain organized workflows while meeting strict deadlines
- Adapt to changing priorities and support additional administrative needs as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Prior clerical or administrative experience
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service–oriented mindset with a professional demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to learn various computer programs (e.g., AirTable, Great Plains, accounting systems)
- Flexibility, professionalism, and openness to change
- Experience in a construction environment is a plus
