ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Applies glaze to greenware with spray gun in the proper amount and uses the proper method.
- Loads unsprayed greenware onto spray booth whirler from greenware storage rack.
- Loads sprayed greenware onto firing setter or back onto a greenware storage rack.
- Applies glaze to trapway - trap dipping.
- Counts and maintains an accurate count of ware sprayed.
- Maintains work area e.g., cleans up, keeps materials, equipment etc. in clean working condition, reclaims glaze.
- Practices and follows all required safety regulations.
- Performs all duties as assigned by supervision.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have the ability to follow general instructions.
- Must have working knowledge of glaze and spray equipment and the ability to operate spray gun and properly apply glaze.
- Must be able to distinguish between colors.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively throughout the day.
