ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate forklift safely and in compliance with company procedures
• Perform pre-shift inspections and submit maintenance requests as needed
• Locate and deliver appropriate stock to machines promptly
• Remove finished goods and maintain neat, safe, and organized stock storage
• Accurately complete and maintain paperwork and computer records for stock locations
• Assist in meeting production schedules and suggest optimizations
• Support other forklift operators and act as backup to Shipping Lead
• Report production, quality, safety, and operational data accurately and on time
• Follow all safety rules and maintain good housekeeping standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current and valid Lift Truck Operator License required
• Ability to read instructions, tape measures, and production documents
• Strong basic math skills, including measurement, volume, and rate calculations
• Working knowledge of forklift operation, stock movement, and production standards
• Ability to apply common sense to solve routine issues and follow written or verbal directions
• Must be physically capable of lifting 50–100 lbs, standing, walking, kneeling, and working in loud and variable environments
• Preferred:
  • Experience in the corrugated industry
  • Prior forklift operation experience
